Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control activities, and other security-related policies for a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen individuals, vehicles, packages, and/or property entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to supervisors and/or designated site contacts.
  • Monitor assigned entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or shipping-related documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access or removal of property.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting unusual activity, operational concerns, and other security-related matters.
