As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and exits at the assigned location. You will conduct access control screenings, interact with visitors and staff, and remain visible to provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience, or 1 year of law enforcement experience, or 2 years of experience as a security-related supervisor or manager, or 3 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control or badges is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting any unusual activity or potential concerns. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
