Requirements

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering or exiting the location in accordance with site policies and posted requirements.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document screening activity, visitor information, and/or incident details as required by the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, policy violations, and/or conditions that may require a response.
