About The Position

As a Security Officer Screening Examiner in Greenwood, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a dynamic tech location, where you will help support access screening, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a dynamic technology-focused location.
Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries entering the location while following access control procedures and documenting required security-related information.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns according to post orders.
Support lobby, entry, and screening operations by verifying credentials, directing foot traffic, and helping to deter unauthorized access or prohibited items.
