Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by following site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and Allied Universal policies.
Screen people, packages, and/or personal items entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established security-related procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials or shipping-related documentation when required, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
Conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas of the location and perimeter, observing for security-related concerns, damaged barriers, and/or suspicious activity.
