In this role, you will stay visible, complete routine observations, and help to deter incidents while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a government service location.
Screen visitors, staff, and/or vendors entering the location by checking identification, confirming appointments, and directing individuals according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized access, maintain orderly flow of visitors, and support daily operations.
Document screening results, visitor interactions, and/or incident details in required logs and reports while following established post orders and client guidelines.
