As a Security Officer Screening Agent in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, court staff, attorneys, jurors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and other security-related protocols at a government location.
  • Screen entrants and personal belongings using assigned screening equipment and established post orders, helping to identify prohibited items and/or unauthorized materials before entry.
  • Verify identification, manage access points, and direct visitors to appropriate destinations while maintaining orderly entry procedures and clear communication.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site-specific policies.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, document screening-related interactions and/or incidents, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and public personnel.
