About The Position

As a Security Officer Screener Driver in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help support security-related screening activities, monitor access points, and assist with routine patrols and customer interactions. Requirements

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and team members by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
Screen individuals, personal belongings, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established security-related procedures.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access attempts in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Respond to incidents and critical situations with professionalism, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to supervisors and/or site contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols around screening areas, shipping and receiving zones, and perimeter locations, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
