As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and remaining visible throughout the campus. You will interact with students, staff, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a positive environment. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, assisting with security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to maintain a secure environment within the education location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, conditions, or situations encountered during patrols or while on post.
Communicate clearly and professionally with students, staff, and visitors, offering assistance as needed and reporting relevant information to Allied Universal and/or client representatives.
Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and/or the client, adapting to changing conditions within the education environment.
