Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or maintenance needs within the location.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management, local authorities, and/or emergency personnel as required during incidents or emergencies.
• Assist visitors, staff, and/or students with questions or directions as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related occurrences as required by site protocols.
