As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout an educational location. Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Six months or more of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an educational setting.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the campus buildings and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual situations to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying identification as needed.
Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency drills and/or real emergencies by following established protocols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to the campus community.
