As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to alarms, and provide outstanding customer service while communicating with staff and visitors. Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Must have supervisory experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies tailored to the needs of a government location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.
Observe and report any unusual activities, potential hazards, or suspicious behavior encountered during patrols or while stationed at designated posts.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or law enforcement personnel as required.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and client requirements.
Remain alert and aware of the surroundings at all times, adapting to varying working environments and conditions specific to the location.
