As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an education location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the campus. You will support a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor access points, observe for unusual behavior, and report security-related concerns according to site protocols.
Assist students, staff, and visitors with directions and general information relevant to the location.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance needs as observed during patrols.
Collaborate with Allied Universal management, site staff, and local authorities as necessary to address incidents and provide support.
