As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with students, staff, and visitors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.30 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and location staff to support a secure environment.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry points and verifying credentials as required by site protocols.
Document incidents, observations, and any actions taken in detailed security-related reports.
