About The Position

As a Security Officer - Roving Site Rounds in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor flow, document observations using a computer or tablet, and deliver professional customer service through clear communication. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking areas, loading or service areas, and the exterior perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations; report findings to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and actions taken.
• Complete routine security-related reports such as shift logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation; communicate clearly with property management and/or local responders as needed.
