About The Position

As a Security Officer - Roving Patrol Driver in Tewksbury, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support guests and staff with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting management and/or local authorities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor for policy violations, suspicious activity, and/or property concerns, and document observations for shift logs and incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with customers, associates, and leadership to support order, assist with directions and questions, and/or help resolve conflicts.
