You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with calm communication and strong customer service. Working as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will bring integrity and a people-first mindset to every shift.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with de-escalation and coordinating notifications to site representatives and/or public responders as needed.
• Control access by monitoring entrances, verifying identification and/or authorization when required, and directing visitors to appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and patrol activity using written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate pertinent information during shift turnovers.
