As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will complete routine patrols and conduct frequent driving rounds, using a valid driver’s license to move between areas and stay highly visible. You will help to deter security-related incidents, support store teams and guests with strong communication, and document observations. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store associates by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail sales floors, entrances, receiving areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, potential shoplifting indicators, and policy violations, and communicate observations to management and/or law enforcement when needed.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, document observations accurately, and maintain a professional presence while supporting loss prevention and other security-related operations.
