About The Position

Requirements

Be 21+ years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies at a logistics and distribution location.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, yards, parking areas, trailer rows, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points, verify identification and/or credentials, control visitor entry, and support employee and driver check-in processes in accordance with site requirements.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate and assisting with evacuation and accountability steps as directed.
Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrol findings, and access activity, and utilize radios, phones, and/or surveillance systems to communicate observations and follow escalation procedures.
