As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and communications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and/or dispatch, and provide customer service that supports a welcoming environment. Bring an agile, reliable mindset, partner through teamwork, and act with integrity every shift.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, work areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or unusual conditions.
• Control access by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or credentials, and directing authorized personnel and deliveries to the appropriate areas.
• Complete detailed reports and shift logs, escalate concerns through the chain of command, and coordinate with onsite contacts and/or local responders as required.
