About The Position
As a Security Officer - Rounds and Access Control in Reynoldsburg, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a busy manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and conduct routine checks of buildings, grounds, and access points. You will also provide customer-focused assistance, clear communication, and timely reporting, working with a reliable, agile team that puts people first and acts with integrity.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unsafe conditions.
- Monitor access points and conduct access control functions such as verifying credentials, managing visitor check-in and/or deliveries, and directing traffic flow as needed.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site contacts and/or public emergency services when needed.
- Complete security-related reports and logs including patrol activity, incident documentation, and shift turnover communications in accordance with site requirements.
