As a Security Officer - Financial Reception Desk in Philadelphia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at a financial institution location, providing a welcoming presence while assisting visitors and staff. You will monitor entry points, handle inquiries, and help to deter security-related incidents through attentive observation and outstanding customer service. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to all individuals entering or exiting the location by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor access control at the front desk, verifying identification and/or credentials for employees, visitors, and contractors as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activity, or policy violations to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
Assist with emergency response activities from the front desk, including communication with emergency personnel and coordination of building procedures.
Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior within the location.
Provide information and assistance to visitors, clients, and staff while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
