As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service while addressing access control needs. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail distribution location and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site management.
