Job Description Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Retail Facility in Boston MA Monday, Tuesday 3 PM - 11 PM + Saturday, Sunday 7 AM - 3 PM Starting Pay is $19.00 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / DailyPay Available Ideal Candidate Has Previous Customer Service and Access Control Experience As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Specialist in Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible to the public. You will interact regularly with guests and staff, delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
- Work collaboratively with retail staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related matters and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required by site protocols.
