About The Position

As a Security Officer - Retail Unarmed Patrol in Luckey, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic retail distribution environment. Your presence and communication skills will support a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and staff. This is a driving post, where you will utilize your experience and customer service abilities to maintain a positive environment while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and people-first care.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail distribution environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or property damage to appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and employees, providing assistance and information as needed.
