Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to situations as they arise.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits as needed.
Assist with emergency response activities according to site-specific guidelines and Allied Universal protocols.
Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and/or customers while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
