About The Position

As a Security Officer - Retail Site - Afternoon Shift in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence throughout the property. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for conducting patrols using a company vehicle. You will also engage with tenants and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience providing customer service is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Collaborate with property management and/or law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Follow all instructions and protocols specific to the commercial real estate environment to support a secure and welcoming atmosphere.
