Your presence and regular patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, guests, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any irregularities or incidents, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized persons on the premises.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials when required, and maintaining a visible presence.
Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, site management, and law enforcement or emergency responders as necessary.
Support the overall security-related operations of the location by remaining alert and attentive to surroundings at all times.
