As a Front Desk Officer at a high-profile tech and media location, you will welcome employees and guests, verify access, monitor entry activity, and respond to security-related concerns with clear communication and a service-first mindset. You will stay visible at the lobby to help to deter unwanted activity, coordinate with site contacts, and support incident reporting. Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Loss prevention experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and guests by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a front desk location.
  • Control access to the facility by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign-in and sign-out logs, and directing guests to the appropriate contact or meeting area.
  • Monitor the lobby and entry points for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized entry by maintaining a professional presence and communicating concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and completing reports per post orders.
  • Operate front desk communications and systems such as phones, radios, and visitor management tools, coordinating with on-site teams and/or local responders when needed.
