As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with guests, provide outstanding customer service, and support a welcoming atmosphere. This is a driving position. Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter theft, unauthorized access, and/or suspicious behavior.
- Document and report any unusual incidents, property damage, or maintenance needs observed during patrols.
- Work closely with retail staff and management to address security-related concerns and support loss prevention efforts.
- Remain visible and approachable to customers and employees to provide assistance and promote a welcoming atmosphere.
