As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will interact with guests and tenants, offer support, and maintain a visible presence to promote a secure environment. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail and mall location, including the business area and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a welcoming environment.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or unusual activity encountered during patrols.
Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site-specific policies.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
Support a positive experience for all guests and visitors by providing directions, answering questions, and offering assistance as needed.
