As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential risks.
Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues within the location to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and maintaining visitor logs as required by site policy.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site staff to support security-related operations and customer service initiatives.
Remain alert and attentive while on duty, adapting to changing environments and conditions as required by the location.
