Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a residential location. You will remain visible, interact with residents, and provide outstanding customer service while monitoring the premises. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the community by vehicle as well as on foot. Join a team that values teamwork, innovation, and integrity while putting people first.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, maintenance issues, or security-related hazards encountered during patrols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, visitors, and/or property management as needed.
Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
Complete required reports and documentation in a timely manner.
