As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Your presence and attention to detail support a secure environment for customers and staff alike. You will also provide outstanding customer service and communication, reflecting our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Being at least 21 years of age is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
Work closely with site management and staff to support a secure and welcoming environment for all individuals at the location.
Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by site protocols.
