As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. You will interact with visitors and staff, provide outstanding customer service, and support access control measures. Position Type: Part Time This is a Part Time Position and Not Eligible for Health Benefits or 401k Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour
Requirements
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents within the retail environment.
- Assist customers, visitors, and staff by providing helpful information and directions as needed.
- Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support security-related needs.
