Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and conduct routine patrols throughout a bustling retail and mall location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will be a visible representative of Allied Universal's caring, people-first culture, working collaboratively to create a welcoming environment for visitors and tenants.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with any security-related concerns that may arise.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail/mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as required.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted behaviors.
Assist visitors, tenants, and/or employees with directions or general inquiries, providing a customer-oriented approach while performing security-related duties.
Complete required documentation and reports related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities as directed by Allied Universal protocols.
