As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a visible presence. You will interact with the public and provide outstanding customer service, while assisting with access control and badge procedures. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the retail or mall location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site instructions.
Observe and report any unusual activities or conditions to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
Support emergency response activities as needed, including guiding visitors and staff during incidents.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to tenants, employees, and visitors.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
