As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic retail and entertainment location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible to guests and staff. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs as they arise.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any unusual conditions.
Observe and report incidents, hazards, and suspicious activities to the appropriate personnel as directed by Allied Universal protocols.
Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits, and assisting with visitor management as required by site policies.
Communicate professionally with clients, guests, and team members to address security-related inquiries or concerns.
Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols and procedures during daily operations and in response to emergencies.
