As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations to help create a secure environment for tenants and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This position requires driving as part of your responsibilities. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating a Segway or T3 is preferred.
Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet, this is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail and mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related incidents as per Allied Universal protocols.
Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits at the location.
Communicate professionally with visitors, tenants, and staff to address inquiries and/or concerns.
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as directed during incidents.
Complete required reports and documentation of security-related activities and incidents in a timely manner.
