As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors at retail and mall locations by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around retail and mall areas, including both the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or irregularities to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials as necessary, and supporting a welcoming environment for guests and tenants.
Work collaboratively with retail staff and management to address security-related concerns and support daily operations.
Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and client requirements.
