As a Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, where you will remain visible throughout the location, assist visitors, and communicate with staff and guests. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
This is primarily a driving post.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and address security-related concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
Support store staff and visitors by providing information and assistance as needed.
Document incidents and complete security-related reports in a timely and accurate manner.
