As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout retail and mall locations. You will interact with the public to provide outstanding customer service and clear communication, while also responding to incidents as needed. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for driving as part of your patrol duties. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Observe and report activities and/or incidents to appropriate personnel, helping to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity.
• Maintain a visible presence to help create a welcoming and secure atmosphere for visitors, employees, and customers.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as assigned.
• Support Allied Universal management and local law enforcement when incidents arise on the property.
