Job Description As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver in Grandville, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail or mall location, you will conduct routine patrols and help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post that requires a valid driver's license. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the retail or mall environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols.
Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and tenants to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to maintain a secure environment for the location.
