Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees while performing assigned duties.
Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits as required by site-specific protocols.
Document incidents and complete required reports in accordance with Allied Universal policies.
