As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with guests and tenants, and provide outstanding customer service in a dynamic environment. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with resolution as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activities within the location.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or incidents to Allied Universal management and/or site representatives.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas as required by site-specific policies.
Provide assistance to customers, tenants, and/or employees as needed, including offering directions or information about the location.
Document daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities in written reports as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
