As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver in Tampa, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming environment for guests and tenants. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving position that requires a valid driver's license. Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within retail and mall environments.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a welcoming environment.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious behavior, hazards, or property damage to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with crowd management and access control during peak hours or special events as needed.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including communicating with local authorities and Allied Universal management.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with company standards.
