About The Position

As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver in Garland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a positive environment at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a welcoming atmosphere.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
Assist with access control procedures, monitoring entry and exit points as required by site protocols.
Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting potential issues.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site staff to address security-related matters as needed.
