As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the property. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail or mall environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and surrounding perimeter areas.
Observe for suspicious activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Support Allied Universal management and local law enforcement during incidents as directed.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any unusual occurrences encountered during patrols.
