As a Patrol Unarmed professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with guests, and deliver outstanding customer service. Your presence and communication skills will help foster a welcoming environment. Provide customer service to clients, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Work collaboratively with location management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support a positive environment for visitors and staff.
Assist with access control and/or visitor management as directed by site procedures.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to patrons and staff.

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
