You will complete routine rounds, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with calm communication and customer service. Bring your teamwork mindset and integrity as you report concerns, document activity, and use computer and/or tablet tools to support daily operations.
Requirements
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and assist with wayfinding and de-escalation support when needed.
- Complete security-related reports and logs, observe and report hazards and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate with site leadership and/or public responders as directed.
